President Search
Carondelet has formally launched a search for a new president. Carondelet continues to thrive, with dedicated and talented faculty, staff, and an executive leadership team focused on developing Carondelet’s students to be leaders in both the classroom and the community. The Board of Trustees is focused on maintaining this success and will work to identify a new president capable of providing visionary leadership while continuing Carondelet’s progress toward becoming a nationally-recognized institution.
As part of the search process, the Board has taken two initial steps. First, we have formed a search committee to oversee the recruitment process. The members of the search committee are as follows:
- Tom Bobich, Trustee, Parent ’09 ‘13
- Tom Olinger, Trustee – Vice Chair, Parent ‘19
- Terri Porter, Trustee, Parent ‘04, Grandparent '22
- Sonya Simril, Trustee
- Jennifer Ghelfi–De Smedt 85', Trustee, Parent ‘22
- Sr. Barbara Stowasser, CSJ Community
Second, the Board of Trustees hired Morris & Berger, a national boutique executive search firm specializing in the education and nonprofit sectors, to lead our president search. The goal is to have our new president in place by this coming summer. However, we will take the time necessary to identify and recruit the right candidate.
We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality required in this recruitment process. However, we will endeavor to keep you informed and communicate updates as the search
progresses. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions or feedback. Please join us and the rest of the trustees in supporting the continued success of Carondelet and praying for God’s guidance in the impending search.
Sincerely,
| |
Nancy O’Malley ’71
Chair, Board of Trustees
| |
Tom Olinger, Parent '19
