Tuesday Morning Women's Bible Study

Youth Group Movie Night and Hot Cocoa Bar!
Attention all 8th grade and high school aged youth: Sunday March 12 at the Ministry Center from 5:00 -7:00pm, will be a hot cocoa bar and movie night! There will be popcorn, snacks, and a huge variety of hot chocolate flavors and toppings. Invite a friend and bring a mug!
Easter Egg Hunt is planned for Saturday, April 1
Plans are underway for an outdoor Easter Egg Hunt on April 1, 2023 (Rain date April 8). Candy donations are needed to fill eggs. Small, wrapped candy that will fit inside a small plastic egg is preferred. We are also asking for volunteers to fill eggs. We will be meeting on March 26, after church, in the school auditorium at 11:30 a.m. to stuff eggs as a group. POSITION OPENING | Part-Time Second Grade Teacher
Being blessed by an increase in enrollment, St. Paul Lutheran School, Bay City (Frankenlust), is seeking a Part-Time Second Grade Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. The position’s responsibilities include leading instruction in second grade Reading/Spelling and Math. Highly qualified candidates should have a current Michigan Teaching Certificate or be willing to obtain one. Quilting Group
The quilting group will be meeting every Thursday in the church basement at 9:00 a.m. Come tie quilts with us!
March is Reading Month!
Our St. Paul School is planning some fun activities for Reading Month in March, and we will have weekly prize drawings. We are looking for $5 gift card donations (e.g. Five Below, Target, McDonalds, Culver's, Walmart), or monetary donations. Please contact Andrea Dent if you have any questions.

Listening Event - Board of Directors
The Michigan District Board of Directors is hosting a Listening Event for the North and East Region on Monday, March 13 at Our Savior, Bad Axe. Pastors, church workers, church leaders, and laity are all welcome to attend.
The Board seeks input in the following areas:
What should the Board know about ministry in this region?
What unmet needs do the congregations have?
What mission opportunities exist in the region?
The findings from this event will aid the Board of Directors in its responsibilities towards strategic direction of the District.

St. Patrick's Day Parade
Last call! Please contact Kristen Glasser 989-529-2962 to register your family for Bay City's St. Patrick's Day Parade on March 19th at 2:00 p.m. Limit of 25 children riding on the St. Paul float. Older children may walk with their parent. Wear your favorite GREEN attire! A waiver must be signed prior to the event and a parent is required to accompany their child.
Good Friday Service
The Tri-City Good Friday Service will be held on April 7, 2023, at the Horizon’s Conference Center at 6200 State Street in Saginaw Township at 1 pm. The Reverend David A. Davis will be the guest speaker. He is the President of the Michigan District-Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. To underwrite the cost of the service, we are seeking support from congregation members as we have done in the past. If you have donated in the past, you will receive a letter in your mailbox at church or by regular mail. If you have not donated in the past and would like to, please contact your congregation representative, Vaughn Begick at 989 295-0209. Checks should be made out to “Good Friday Service”. Thank you for any support that you can give, and invite your relatives, friends, and unchurched acquaintances to join us at the service.

Third Quarter Cafeteria Kid Assistant Volunteers
Thank you to our Second Quarter Cafeteria Kid Assistant Volunteers! You helped our students navigate the cafeteria procedures, cleaned tables between groups, and assisted students with opening food and drink containers. We appreciate you!
