Join the Youth Media Squad!
Media Power Youth is inviting high school students entering grades 9 through 12 in fall of 2023 to join its youth advisory board. As a member of our "Youth Media Squad", students will have the opportunity to meet other teen leaders from across the county while building advocacy skills.

The deadline to apply is April 17th.
Nevada Math and Technology Summer Camp
Apply by April 10th for current 6th and 7th grade students. A residential one-week summer camp on the UNR Campus. Scholarships are available for students with demonstrated financial need.
Nevada First-Gen Network (NFGN) Microgrants!
Mark your calendar for April 3rd, 2023, for the official launch of the Nevada First-Gen Network Microgrants! Application cycle opens April 3, 2023, and will close April 16th, 2023, at 5:00pm PST

Thank you to everyone that attended and supported NAN's "Lightbulbs for Legislators" event during the 2023 Children's Week at the Nevada Legislature. We hope you enjoyed hearing community members and representatives share their experiences and advocate to keep the lights on after school in Nevada.

National Service Learning Conference
The National Youth Leadership Council is honored to host the Annual National Service-Learning Conference, now in its 34th year. This conference is more than workshops and keynote addresses; it is an extension of the classroom, allowing for the youth and adult attendees to be part of a national movement.
The Conference will be LIVE April 2-5, 2023 in Nashville, Tennessee!

At the 2023 Every Hour Counts National Conference, we’ll discuss what’s possible to engage, empower and support young people. We’ll explore how to develop community-wide solutions with leaders from across communities!
The Conference will be from May 30-June 1!
The Forum for Youth Investment: The 2023 Forum National Conference
The 2023 Forum National Conference is taking place May 10-12, 2023, in Detroit,
Michigan. This year's theme – Stronger Systems, Stronger Youth – will showcase the
Forum’s commitment to strengthening programs, supporting system leaders and
practitioners, shaping policies that advance youth development, and convening across
systems and sectors to learn together in community.

Million Girls Moonshot
The Million Girls Moonshot Toolkit is a collection of resources and tools for all 50 Mott Afterschool States Networks, their partners, and programs, to utilize for the Million Girls Moonshot Initiative. All transformative practice resources have been vetted using a culturally responsive and equity lens to foster inclusive STEM learning spaces for all youth, particularly girls.
