On January 1, 2023, the revised recommendations for the Student Minimum Competencies went into effect. Any cohort starting now should be under these new recommendations.

NAEMSE Annual Symposium

The CoAEMSP team was honored to present at the annual National Association of EMS Educators (NAEMSE) symposium in August. If you couldn’t make it, fear not – here are some of the highlights from the CoAEMSP presentations.


Program Citations between 2018 – 2022 (N=473)

  • 52% (245) of programs had NO citations
  • Mean of 4.75 citations per program (228)
  • Top 5 most common citations – it’s ok - every one of them can be addressed
