Associated Students' Government Spotlight

Welcoming Lucas Westbrook as Director of Graduate Affairs!

We are thrilled to introduce you to Lucas Westbrook, who has taken on a pivotal role within the Associated Students' Government (ASG) here at CSU Pueblo. Lucas, originally from Loveland, Colorado, has been a dedicated member of our community for several years.

Lucas's journey at CSU Pueblo began with an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, specializing in recreation management, and a minor in Leadership Studies. Last spring, he proudly graduated and is now pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

This year, Lucas has assumed the vital position of Director of Graduate Affairs within ASG, a role that did not exist in the past. In this role, he is responsible for bridging the gap between graduate students and the university. His duties include event planning, serving on fee governing committees, and facilitating communication between faculty and ASG to ensure graduate student voices are heard.

Lucas's focus is clear: to streamline processes, boost graduate student engagement, and foster a strong connection with students. Lucas wants to ensure that the graduate student experience at CSU Pueblo is exceptional.

If you are a graduate student wanting to get involved (in ASG or in general), or you need to discuss issues or concerns about your experiences please reach out to Lucas via email: lt.westbrook@pack.csupueblo.edu to share your thoughts and ideas.

Lucas Westbrook's dedication and vision are already making a positive impact, and we are excited to see the positive changes he will bring to our graduate community. Join us in welcoming him as our new Director of Graduate Affairs!
