Gravity of God SpringBoard STARTS TOMORROW!

Thursdays at 7 PM, March 30th - May 25th at the Montgomery School

You're invited to join us for our newest small group, "The Gravity of God."

A core belief at WellSprings is that “we can experience God without being able to define God." Sharing our experiences of God with each other can deepen our faith, even as those experiences may be different. In this group, we'll deepen our understandings of God through the metaphor of science. By delving deeply into scientific concepts and ideas, we’ll each find metaphors to connect us in our relationship to the Holy.

Open to all! Reserve your spot today!

Pledge Your Support for WellSprings

By Sunday, April 16th

We’re kicking off our 2023 Annual Pledge Drive, this Sunday! Click the link below to read a special letter sent to our congregation, yesterday, from the WellSprings Stewardship Ministry. Along with the letter, you'll find an informational brochure that describes this year’s pledge drive goals, our budget by mission, the shortfall of current giving levels, and data on past giving patterns.

This year, our goals are:

1) to increase member participation in giving from 70% to 95% and

2) to meet the budget goal of $265,500. Giving is an important spiritual practice – no matter how much – and we’re asking every household to make a pledge this year, in any amount. It all adds up when we remember that we’re in this together! As we plan for the future, we invite you to connect, to commit, and to engage in a manner that keeps WellSprings strong.

You can access the pledge card here.

Upcoming Connections for Parents & Families

Save the Date for our Events, below...

Sunday, April 23 - an all-ages/family-friendly service opportunity in the afternoon! YouthBridge is hosting a BYO picnic lunch, then a walk in Exton Park to go geocaching and to clean up park trash along the way.

Saturday, April 29, 1-3pm - parents of middle and high-school aged kids are invited to gather for our Parents & Caregivers as Sexuality Educators group (PaSE). Host Andrea Tollison will welcome parents to her home for a lively and light discussion about all matters regarding pre-teens and teenagers. We use the UUA PaSE curriculum as a jumping off point for the discussion, but the group determines the path it will take.

Slow Down and Connect with Your Minister

A Friendly Invitation from Rev. Lee

As your minister, I am here for the big moments: for Sunday mornings, pastoral support, and the milestones of life. But you don't always need A Big Reason to talk to your minister. I'd love to grab a beverage or a bite to eat, just to connect and hear what's going on in your life.

You may not realize, I always keep my availability updated on a public calendar - where you can schedule coffee, tea, or lunch with me, anytime. Choose a date and time that works for you, then feel free to choose from the location options I've listed, or suggest one of your own!

Click this link to check it out: https://calendly.com/revlee - and good to see so many folks back around these parts on Sunday mornings, this winter!

Easter Donations for Our YouthSpirit Activity

YouthSpirit is planning a fun activity for the kids on Easter, and is currently seeking donations of the following:

  • Individually wrapped candies
  • Annie's gummies
  • Coins
  • $1 bills
  • Small toys
  • Seed paper
  • ... or a monetary donation to purchase supplies.

Kids will be asked to donate half the funds from the eggs they collect during the egg hunt to a cause they will vote on together! If your kids plan to attend on Easter, ask them about what causes are important to them.

Donations may be dropped off on Sundays in the white box at the back of Bell Hall. Thanks for your help in making Easter fun and memorable for the younger WellSpringers!
