Hunterdon County Division of Senior, Disabilities and Veterans' Services

From the Director

Dear Friends,

April gets its name from the Latin word aperio meaning “to open”, It is the perfect name for the month, that brings crocuses and daffodils to us, with their splash of color shining through the remaining leaves from fall.

For April, we are going to have a “blooming” good time, starting with a workshop on “Mindfulness” from April 5th, “Make your Derby Hat” on April 13th, a "Revolutionary War" lecture on April 17th , Flower Arranging on April 21st with Chris from Gilded Lily and ending with a talk on “How to Cook Healthy, the Easy Way” on April 28th.

As with April, be “open” to new experiences and join us for some fantastic fun.

Be well,

Laine Nauman

Director

Needs Assessment and Public Hearing

Each year, the Division of Senior, Disabilities and Veterans’ Services reviews goals and objectives in determining priority needs for the older adults in our community. We then ensure that those needs are met through an array of easily accessible programs and services. A part of this process is conducting a needs assessment and holding a public hearing.

Please assist us by completing the needs assessment.
