We are thrilled to announce that the AYA Board of Trustees has unanimously appointed Mr. Jason Feld as our incoming Head of School, effective July 1, 2023: "I am so excited to join the Akiba Yavneh Academy community. Together, we will continue to build upon our exceptional academic program to consistently deliver dynamic and engaging learning opportunities for every student in Judaic and General Studies. Beyond the classroom, we will create innovative and transformative student experiences, and strengthen our school culture that is centered on middot (our character), kehillah (our community), and positive engagement in the modern world that is grounded in Jewish text, tradition, knowledge and pride. Your talent and skills are needed to build the future of AYA! The volunteer form closes this Sunday, March 5, so don’t wait to let us know how you'd like to volunteer your time and talent. In particular, the Innovation Committee is looking for talented community members with expertise in education, data and technology, finance, HR and staffing, and community-building and communications to be part of planning and oversight.

It's time for all of us to "Come Together" for the Dallas Jewish Federation's Super Sunday! We are thrilled to bring this exciting event back to the community and our goal is to get everyone involved. We are reinventing Super Sunday into a bigger and more festive gathering, offering fun activities for families, raffles, and fundraising.
With our mission directed towards ensuring vibrant Jewish life, we recognize that the key to meeting its growing needs will require community collaboration. To raise the critical funds needed by our partner organizations, we are asking Akiba Yavneh Academy to join us by hosting a table of volunteers and leading the charge in fundraising and "thank you" calls.
