WHITESBURG, Ky

Forcht Broadcasting's Christmas for the Mountains Toy Drive was a resounding success!

Forcht Broadcasting radio stations asked our communities for toy donations in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving. Our communities answered the call and over 2,500 toys were collected and delivered to children and families in Eastern Kentucky who's lives had been devastated by disastrous flooding earlier in the year.

Thank you to our listeners, clients, and friends! YOU made this past Christmas truly something special for the children in Eastern Kentucky.

STATION SHENANIGANS AND OTHER STUFF

Greg Moore and Kate Smith tried their hands at roller skating in the station. We are fairly certain this could be the first time in the station's history that roller skates have touched these floors.

Kate's Bacon Cheeseburger Dip

The Dip that made Greg Moore speechless

Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef

10 oz. can of diced tomatoes and green chilies

8 oz. of cream cheese (softened)

2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese or shredded Mexican blend cheese

6 oz. package of REAL Bacon Bits

1 bag of round tortilla chips for dipping

Brown ground beef and drain. Add can of tomatoes and chilies, shredded cheese, softened cream cheese, and 3/4 bag of bacon bits. Mix until well blended. Transfer into small crockpot. Heat on low for 3-4 hours, stirring occasionally. Serve warm.
