PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Happy New Year! Thank you so much for putting your confidence in me to be your new leader. I will do my best to keep the ball rolling and help lift up our organization--to increase membership, be totally inclusive to all, produce great programs and socials, and encourage participation from everyone, whether it be on a committee or just as a volunteer.

Congratulations to the new officers and board! Our humblest gratitude to the wonderful past board and officers that gave 2022 a good run. Also, I'd be remiss not to mention the two major award recipients at the last meeting. Our 2022 Business Person of the Year is Rene Zook with Keller Williams Realty, and our 2022 Volunteer of the Year is Mike Slagle with Assign Commercial Group. Way to go!

We look forward to an exciting new year with our first speaker, Karen Brune Mathis, Editor, Jacksonville Daily Record. Karen always enlightens us with the business news of the city, as well as some of the special announcements that have just gone public. Join us to hear what is coming down the wire and consider bringing a potential member. Bring a door prize and get recognized. Our 91st year is going to rock!

2023 President
