Fend Wins Department of Energy Small Business Innovation Research Award

Fend has won an award from the US Department of Energy (DOE) SBIR Program to advance the state of cybersecurity for dams and hydropower facilities. Through this project, Fend will expand its feature set to include new capabilities to enhance the physical cyber protection of these important critical infrastructure systems. The Rural and Municipal Utility Cybersecurity (RMUC) Program invites electric cooperative, municipal, and small investor-owned utilities with limited cybersecurity resources and utilities that serve military installations to apply for funding and technical assistance through the Advanced Cybersecurity Technology (ACT) 1 Prize.
