Civic Engagement Beyond Voting (“CEBV”) has a year-round plan focused on engaging Arizonans with all facets of local government.

CEBV has created a multifaceted and flexible toolkit to match volunteers with actions that suit their interests, energy, and skills.

This year’s projects include:

• CEBV-Y, a group run by and for young people to drive youth engagement and turnout
• Lawmaker accountability
• Letters to the editor workshops
• Request to Speak (“RTS”) and testimony training
• Rural organizing
• Gavel Watch 2024
• Melinda Iyer’s ‘‘The Weekly’’
• Sunday Happy Hours

Here is some more information about the key responsibilities of a Democratic Precinct Committee Member:

• Stay informed about local/national issues and candidates.
• Be an advocate for voter registration and voting rights.
• Build relationships with Democrats in your precinct.
• Educate voters in your precinct about the Democratic Party, its nominees, and issues.
• Attend legislative district monthly meetings.
• Attend MCDP & ADP Meetings.

LD2 will hold its monthly meeting at the PVCC Conference Center (17811 N 32nd St), located off 32nd St, just North of Grovers. You’ll see a separate parking lot from the main campus. The agenda will be sent to PCs in advance.
