As a City-owned utility, our goal is to provide Lakeland with reliable electric service, but we also feel it is our responsibility to help improve the quality of life for our customers. To help our fellow citizens in need, a program called Project Care was developed to assist people with paying their Lakeland Electric bills. Lakeland Electric customers who are 60 and older and/or disabled are eligible for assistance. Project Care is about people caring for people, neighbors helping neighbors.

The Junior League of Greater Lakeland and the City of Lakeland are proud to host the 41st annual Lakeland Christmas Parade! The parade will take place in Downtown Lakeland, Thursday, December 1, 2022.
The City of Lakeland invites the community to a walk in the snow at the 42nd Annual Snowfest, on December 3, from 5 – 9 pm at Lake Mirror, in downtown Lakeland.
Join the City of Lakeland as we spread Holiday cheer down the 3 Parks Trail and around the Cleveland Heights Golf Course on December 10th for the Holly Jolly Jingle Bell Jog 5k & Reindeer Dash Kids' Fun Run!
For kids age 9 and under, The Reindeer Dash is along the 9th hole, near the 5k finish line. Register your little dasher for $10 (includes finisher medal).

The City of Lakeland is excited to have the big guy himself (ahem, Santa) available for a very Lakeland photo opportunity in Hollis Garden. In addition to your photo with Santa, there will be several other photo op locations. Grab a "Santa's Check-List" full of games to play. The first 100 will receive a unique Hollis Garden ornament (1 per family/group).
