I've returned to Tanzania after two months in the U.S.

Seeing everything afresh has brought certain dynamics and patterns more strongly to my attention.

I also have the benefit of the clear thinking and observations of Mesha Singolyo, our lead organizer working in the villages,

She has helped me see the complexity of the impact of climate change on the Maasai people. 

Although contemporary approaches frequently suggest we focus on women and girls, Mesha finds herself especially concerned about how severely climate change is affecting the men of the community.
