Feeding Middlesex County (FMC) is proud to announce that three outstanding members of the Middlesex County community have joined the FMC board, and their professional expertise and experience as well as devotion to the mission of ending food insecurity in Central Jersey will enhance overall operations of FMC.
The three new members, Diana Braga of Magyar Bank, George Francy, a local technical writer and Claudio Mir from the Rutgers Collaborative Center for community engagement bring a wealth of communication skills to the board.
FMC Chair Kevin Hoagland said “We are so fortunate to have Diana, George and Claudio join us. As an all-volunteer charity, we depend on the skills and dedication of board volunteers, and with the addition of these three, our ability to communicate to the community at large, donors and food insecurity stakeholders will increase greatly.”
All three of the new members have had ongoing relationships with FMC as well as REPLENISH, the county food bank. They have a good working knowledge of the needs of neighbors who suffer from food insecurity, and their addition to the board gives them a new and enhanced platform to further the cause of ending hunger in our area.
