Welcome,
It is with immense joy and a sense of divine purpose that we welcome you back to the beginning of a new school year. To our returning students, families, teachers, and support staff, and to all new members of our ECS community, we extend a heartfelt welcome.
On August 31st, Pauline Klok, one of our Pastoral Care Leaders, led all ECS and Society staff in a devotion about God's generous love - reminding us that to share and extend the love of Christ, we need to be able to receive Christ's love. It was an important time to reconnect with one another, recognizing the importance of unity within our ECS community. Our leadership team also gathered to align our hearts and minds, making plans and preparations that reflect our commitment to each and every one of you. Above all, we spent valuable moments in prayer and worship, seeking God's guidance and blessings for the journey ahead.
Anthony Middel is diligently planning how we can support teachers in Biblical Studies, Faith Formation, and Teaching for Transformation in his new role as the Director of Learning. We are so thankful for his thoughtful, creative approach to this work.
As we begin a new school year, let us aspire to create an environment steeped in love, compassion, and understanding. Let us seek to understand that every person we encounter is a part of God's story, and their unique perspective enriches our narrative. Together, we can make this school year an unforgettable chapter in the ongoing narrative of God's story as we play our unique roles with faith and dedication.
Once again, welcome back, ECS community!
