Vicki Denis' Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) class visits the new daycare in Kitimaat Village. The new daycare is an extension of the C’imo’ca Headstart program. Students get to see first hand how this daycare incorporates Haisla culture into daily childcare activities.

Winter is a great season for exploring nature in B.C. CMTN's Smithers Campus offers an event - UP! Snowshoe Hike every Monday until March to encourage students to enjoy winter activities. 


You can try skiing, skating, snowshoeing, or winter fishing. When you are surrounded by trees, you can feel calm and refreshed. There are enjoyable activities to entertain yourself in a Winter Wonderland!
