Acts of Faith

Greetings Ministry Partners,

We were able to catch some of the Olympics and we heard story after story of the focused training that prepared those participating in various events. They showed that training, care, and exercise preceded triumph.

In a world of trials, there is much exercising of faith that must take place. We press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God. So, faith has action. There is care, reflection, careful study, and service on the Way. To change the world is to influence the cultures surrounding us.

We represent the Kingdom of God. Therefore, we show kindness, we love one another, we share and train others as we meet the needs of the people. Let's continue... as God's relay team! Read on to see our Acts of Faith.

We appreciate you,

We praise God for another Teacher Training Workshop that was conducted in the north with 8 participants. Classes are going well throughout the region.

Testimony from Pakistan

"Greetings in the name of the Almighty Lord, Jesus Christ.

I am a pastor and a student in CCI training. By the grace of God, I am very happy to be learning. Particularly, Course 5 (Bible Doctrine) has been very helpful to me. I am truly growing both biblically and spiritually, and I am very grateful. I give thanks to the Lord for CCI!"

UAE

The trainer has started Course 2: Old Testament Survey. Pray for the teacher as he tries to stay healthy. Also, there is new interest from another congregation, so we pray for a successful Teacher Training Workshop (TTW) soon.

Bangladesh

Pastor S is teaching Course 10: Missions, Evangelism, Discipleship in three areas. Pictured are classes in the north and north-east. The 1st CCI graduation in Bangladesh is being planned for November.

These classes are currently going through Course 9: Church History. The students are also getting opportunities to teach during the training sessions, which helps them feel more comfortable in their teaching role.

Testimonies from Bangladesh

"Greetings to all of you in the name of Jesus Christ! I am so blessed and grateful to God for CCI and the opportunity to learn near my home. Through CCI training, I have come to understand the real purpose of my life, the Church’s role, and the importance of community. There are, indeed, not many fully trained pastors and leaders in my area, and few are willing to train others, leaving us spiritually weak. How can we know the Bible better if we do not have mature teachers? Now, I understand how God has shaped me through CCI training. My purpose is to teach others, as I am equipped to equip others. I will promote the CCI ministry in my area and train many pastors, leaders, and youth through CCI training. I will share the Gospel in my community. As I complete Course 10 (Missions, Evangelism, Discipleship) very soon, I will be fully prepared for the Lord’s work.

Please pray that I may devote myself fully to the Kingdom of God, complete the training, and help our churches, community, and non-believers come to know Christ. Pray that God will use me to win Buddhists for the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you!"

- Mr. T

India

Nineteen students graduated after training for two years in Mahabubabad. The graduates are equipped to do their ministry effectively. Another new discipleship class has begun in Kondapalli.

A leaders’ meeting was conducted in northern India. Our Area Coordinator is doing a great job. He also went to visit another class led by Mr. S. He is teaching Course 5: Bible Doctrine Survey.

Testimony from India

"I am Aruna, a graduate of CCI. I joined the training 2 years ago. One sister informed me about the CCI class in Mahabubabad. I joined the class very reluctantly and when I started attending regularly, I understood that I needed to learn a lot from the Word of God. The training program has changed my perspective. By God’s leading and the encouragement of my teachers, I continued the training and every course was a blessing for me. I clearly understood OT & NT Survey, Bible Doctrine, and Discipleship. I am interested in serving and doing ministry among women in nearby villages. This training has equipped me to serve among them. I am thankful to God and the CCI team."

Nepal

CCI Nepal conducted a graduation for 10 students at a local church. As a result of training, a new class has started. A clear perspective; one class finished and another one started. We praise God for new classes!

Testimony from Nepal

Above and Beyond ……

"I’m a pastor in a remote village for almost 5 years. Three families including mine, accepted Christ as personal Saviour. After that, there was no one there to lead and teach God’s Word, but we had a deep desire and hunger to know God. I took pastoral responsibility without having any formal or informal Bible training. That made ministry more of a burden for me, than a joy and privilege. Membership in the church has grown, but my heart was full of worry and unrest because I feared teaching and leading the church. But praise God! One day, I heard about CCI training, which made me very excited because my dream was becoming a reality, which is above and beyond any of my thoughts. I saw in the midst of my storm that God was standing on the side commanding things to stop. I experienced a great calm. I knew my LORD was beyond and above all my thoughts. The training really excited me. I wouldn’t have to go far away from my family, church, and ministry. It did not require any high qualifications (which I don’t have). It is also very affordable. I actually paid a very small amount for my books. Today I received a certificate of graduation and wear a gown, which is above and beyond my capacity and ability. God has done it all because HE is above and beyond all of my thoughts."
