November 2022

We loved spending Halloween with the Monday MAPsters, and we had a great day! Now we would love to give back...

If you have any extra Halloween candy (and let's face it, who doesn't?), please drop it at Memorial MAP by the end of the day tomorrow, Thursday, November 2. We will be donating it to Medfield Helping Hands, and they will send it to troops overseas, as well as sharing it with several groups right here in town who put it to good use as they serve our community.

What happens @ MAP?

If the day falls on your child's regular MAP day, we will be expecting them

(there is no Jump Start)

There is no special sign up or extra charge for the extended coverage.

1st Grade & Full Day K have a half-day, and will be released to MAP @11:40.

All children need to come to MAP with a lunch, water bottle, and plenty of snacks

COMING SOON...MAP HOLIDAY SHOP!

It's one of our favorite traditions at Memorial MAP, and it will be coming soon! During the month of December, we will have a small shop for MAPsters to do their holiday gift shopping. The merchandise is a mix of inexpensive items from stores and donations from families. That's where you come in! We only sell new items at Holiday Shop, but we know everyone has a couple of items in their home that will fit the bill: unopened, un-used items that someone else might love...

maybe gifts you have received that aren't quite "you",

maybe things you bought yourself that you never used.

Jump Start MAP

October has been such a fun month!! The kids have loved exploring outside and watching how the Earth changes from Summer to Fall. Many experiments with leaves, pumpkins, and apples. The kids love Halloween! Throughout October, they have decorated one of the playhouses as a haunted house, decorated the room, and enjoyed Glow in the Dark activities. They have gotten really good at making scary ghosts to hang up on the house!! We are now exploring the woods in the back of MAP. They love to pick up sticks and see all of the trees. There is even a house made out of sticks in the woods! So exciting!

Afternoons at MAP

With the year well underway, we have enjoyed spending time getting to know this year's MAPsters! They are busy, creative, fun, and energetic! They love to spend time outdoors, and for the most part, the weather has not disappointed us! The mud kitchen and gazebo are always busy, the playground is popular, and outside games are a hit! One of the highlights of October has been the start of CLUBS! Many children signed up to be in a club (or 2) and they look forward to their club day every week! Flower Club, Cards Club, Apple Club, Halloween Club, and Take Apart Club have ended, but not to worry... we have a brand new round of clubs coming right up!

HAUNTED DALE!!!

VERY SPECIAL THANKS TO THE MAP @ THE PFAFF KIDS AND TEACHERS WHO ENTERTAINED AND SPOOKED US WITH THEIR HAUNTED HOUSE ON MONDAY, 10/31! WHAT A GREAT WAY TO HEAD INTO HALLOWEEN WEEKEND!
