Dear Friends,

Finally! It seems the perpetual rain has come to an end and a glorious fall (maybe even a 2nd summer) is upon us! This time of year you can count on cool and foggy mornings that inevitably turn to brilliant warm afternoons. Perfect weather to hit the trails! While the seasons shift around us, here at KT we are excited to announce a new trail, our 30th Anniversary Photo Contest, our Race Back to School event, and more!

Campfire Ring is OPEN!

Delays due to rain couldn't stop this new trail from being built! Campfire Ring is a multi-directional 2.8 mile blue square circling the perimeter of the Kingdom Campground. Currently a stand alone loop, it is a combination of machine and hand-built trail, the terrain is undulating and scenic with bermed descents, wide bench cuts and short punchy climbs. Taking direction from our 2020 Network Capacity Study, this trail is the first phase of KT's expansion towards downtown Lyndonville.

Campfire Ring was built with the help of many volunteers including local community members, Burke Town School and Burke Mountain Academy students, NICA New York and New Jersey, Saratoga Shredders and 1PVD Cycling Clubs, along with NorthWoods Stewardship Center's Women+ and the KT crew. With support from Athletic Brewing, and adaptive trail consulting with Greg Durso from the Kelly Brush Foundation.
On September 15th, 1994 the Kingdom Trail Association was established by a group of visionaries as a 501c3 Nonprofit Organization. In 2024, for our 30th Anniversary, we want to celebrate together by featuring selected photographs in a photo book commemorating 30 years of amazing trails, incredible scenery, generous landowners, and wonderful community.

All proceeds from entry fees and the sale of the photo book will go toward furthering the mission of Kingdom Trails to ensure another 30 years of trails, conservation, and community!

Please join in this celebration by submitting your photos today!
The Race Back to School!
Thursday, September 21st 3:30-7pm at the Inn at Mountain View, all are invited to participate in the Race Back to School on Kingdom Trails. This annual walk, run, or bike-a-thon, for all ability levels, serves as a fundraiser for all local schools and a fitness activity to motivate students to lead a healthy lifestyle. Enjoy an afternoon on the trails with friends and family while raising funds for your school's programs.
We Are Hiring!
Join our team working at the heart of the trail network and community in a year round full time position as Retail Supervisor or as a seasonal Trail Crew Member during the summer or winter.

Getting out for an after (or during) work ride will never be easier!

It is with gratitude for the KT landowners that we welcome all to respectfully enjoy this gift of trails. Thank you landowners!
