A GREAT DAY IN THE KINGDOM
We have two mission trips coming up next month. October 2-6, a team will travel to Perryton to continue repairs on a tornado-damaged home. Then, October 20-24, a team will go to the Mission Center in Conroe to help assemble disaster-response kits. Please prayerfully consider joining one of these trips, and even if you cannot attend, please begin praying now for the team members and the impact they will have on the communities of Perryton and Southeast Texas. POTLUCK THEOLOGY: A CHURCH FAMILY BRUNCH
Sunday, September 29, 10-11am
Bring your favorite brunch item (either made or bought by you) to share with our church family and guests at 10am on Sunday, September 29th. There will be no Sunday school that day. This a great time to visit with old and new friends, invite people to your Sunday school or Bible study, and find out what's going on in our church. All are invited to the table!

Mark your calendars for Lord's Acre on October 12th! Here are some ways you can help:

Donations of individually-packaged chips, snacks (protein bars, peanut butter crackers, pretzels, etc.), and drinks (cans of soda, bottles of water/sports drinks, juice boxes). These may be delivered to the marked bin in the Narthex.

Plan to bring item(s) for the silent and/or live auction. Forms are available in the Narthex and on the church website, and may be turned in at the Connection Center.

ADULT MISSION TRIP - PROGRESS IN PERRYTON

TUESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY
Begins September 10, 10am-12pm, MAC
The Tuesday morning Bible study will resume September 10, and we will be studying Revival by Adam Hamilton. Join us as we follow Hamilton on a 6-week journey to England, exploring the life of John Wesley and his defining characteristics of a Wesleyan Christian. Wesley's story is our story. It defines our faith and challenges us to rediscover our spiritual passion. We hope you will join us!

FELLOWSHIP OF MEN SERVICE EVENT
September 28, 8am-1pm, Clearfork Creek Farm
Join us at Clearfork Creek Farm, a non-profit organization that provides food to those in need in Parker County. We will be performing general repairs and maintenance, helping with tilling, tree pruning, and installation of new fencing. This event is open to all ages, so bring the whole family! ADULT MISSION TRIP
October 20-24, Disaster Relief Center, Conroe
The Mission Center in Conroe, responds to natural disasters and homelessness with pre-assembled kits that serve immediate needs. If you would like to help, please join us October 20th-24th in Conroe. There is no fee; individual expenses include hotels, gas, and meals. Sign up at the Connection Center. Deadline to register is October 6th or when the team is filled. MEN'S DEVOTIONAL BREAKFAST
Mondays, 7:30am, MAC Center
Men, start your week with a brief devotional, led by David Stubbs. Burritos and coffee will be served. This is an opportunity to meet new people and decompress. The goal is for those not retired, to get back on the road by 8:15, at the latest. A donation of $5 is asked to cover the cost.
