SAN FRANCISO SUICIDE PREVENTION

Hosting 988 Network Region 9 Convening

Felton’s San Francisco Suicide Prevention (SFSP) program hosted the 988 Network Region 9 Convening! Over the impactful 2-day event, agencies from California, Arizona, and Nevada came together with a unified mission of saving lives.


SFSP concluded the event with a tour of their space and a presentation from our partner CIRCE, sharing impactful information on contact center solutions.

EARLY CARE & EDUCATION

Felton Congratulates ECE REACH Graduates

ECE REACH participants were honored at the 2024 ECE REACH Graduation Ceremony! “You all are changing the narrative for yourselves, for your families, and for the communities that we’re serving,” said Felton COO Yohana Quiroz to the Cohort 3 graduates. “You’re becoming the next generation of leaders in the ECE space and you’re doing it with grit, grace, and determination.”


Designed to empower first-generation, non-traditional college and immigrant apprentices through an Early Childhood Education (ECE) workforce development pipeline, ECE REACH (Early Care and Education, Realizing Employment And Creating Hope) provides comprehensive support services tailored to meet the unique needs of this workforce.

BAYVIEW DROP-IN CENTER

Medical Day Success

Felton’s Bayview Drop-In Center recently hosted a successful Medical Day, providing free health check-ups and connecting residents to medical services.

Located in San Francisco’s Bayview, the center serves those at risk of or experiencing homelessness by offering access to showers, laundry, meals, and lockers.

SCSEP Featured in the San Francisco Chronicle!

The San Francisco Chronicle spoke to Felton’s SCSEP Program Director Amy Yu, participant and Felton employee Mary Swanson, and Senior Services Director Cathy Spensley about the growing success of the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP).


This federally funded program helps older adults transition back into the workforce through job-readiness training that leads to secure job placements, increased confidence, and self-sufficiency.
