Halloween at the Zoo

Member Appreciation Month

It was a wildly magical evening on September 23, 2023, in celebration of Miller Park Zoo, its animals, education programs and conservation initiatives. ZooDo guests had animal encounters, rode the carousel and were entertained by a nationally renound magician. Attendees were able to bid on exciting silent and live auction items while enjoying delicious cuisine.

Guests gave generously and over $100,000 was raised to support Miller Park Zoo! $40,000 was designated to help restore the carousel at the zoo. This year’s top sponsor was Clemens Insurance. Kim and Rick Percy were the honorary chairs who gave their all to the planning and execution of the event.

We want to thank all who took part in ZooDo 2023. From the planning committee, to the table hosts, hundreds of our zoo supporters helped make this year’s event a success!

Learning at the Zoo

On any visit to the zoo there is much to learn about the animals. You can read the signs, ask a keeper, or just observe. There is something to be learned about every animal. In addition to what you can learn on your own, there are classes, education programs, and events both at the zoo and outside the zoo.
