Second Sundays at Dayspring is our monthly open house with a variety of shorter, engaging sessions and a welcoming vibe. It’s a choose-your-own-adventure morning filled with music, workshops, spiritual activities, and great food. You can stay for 10 minutes or spend the whole morning. Bonus: the patio is dog-friendly, so you can bring your pup along! Come for food, music, and activities for all ages. We welcome all 7th graders and up to officially become confirmed into the United Methodist Church! We will be holding an informational meeting about Confirmation on January 12th at 11:15 in Room 110. Please join us if your kiddo is interested in Confirmation! AWAKE returns on January 17 from 6:00-9:00pm. It’s going to be an awesome evening for all 3rd – 6th graders filled with dinner, Bible activities, and fun games. The cost is $5 per person, and you must register in advance by emailing Andrea.

Join Pastor Jeff for Saving Jesus: Part 1, an exploration of a credible Jesus for the 21st century on Mondays at 5:30 p.m. in the Palo Verde Room or Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m. at Friendship Village, beginning the week of January 20. We will be joined by 25 renowned experts, including John Dominic Crossan, Marcus Borg, A.J. Levine, and Diana Butler Bass, for a video-based study exploring the relevance of Jesus for today.

This holiday season, we are a dropoff location for the Charlie Project, collecting backpacks, jackets, blankets, hygiene items (toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, lip balm, and combs), and more to give to people experiencing homelessness, with a special focus on veterans who live on the street during the cold winter months. Please bring donations to the bin in the narthex by January 21. Learn more
