CCI Fall Tour 2023

Chapter 2

Greetings Ministry Partners,

What a privilege to be part of the CCI Fall Tour! Our team presented the ministry of CCI to individuals and churches in North Carolina and Florida. We told people about how God is moving in this ministry above and beyond what we prayed for. The month of September was a time of glorifying God, spending time with our wonderful hosts, making new friends, and learning from our teammates.

One of the highlights of this Tour was our visit to the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Billy Graham was one of the most influential Christian leaders of the 20th century. He preached the gospel to millions of people during his lifetime. He preached with humility, using simple words and without any complicated mental acrobatics. It’s amazing how a simple man can be used by God to accomplish great things!

It’s only a matter of a few weeks until we leave for home on October 19th. Meanwhile, our team in the Philippines continues to serve the Lord with joy and expectation of great things from God. Let me tell you a little bit about some of the highlights of the past month.

We appreciate your prayers and support.

Tour Training

As part of the Tour, we attended a three-day training on the Five Best Practices of the ministry. They trained us in preparing Plans Of Action towards the achievement of the Vision of CCI. The lessons that we learned during this training will be passed on to our teams back home. I learned during this training that I must harness the knowledge of the Board members and the Coordinators by involving them in making decisions for CCI Philippines.

Testimony from a Student

“I thank the Lord God for giving me this privilege to study. I am grateful for the Lord's continued understanding, knowledge, and wisdom in my studies. When Pastor Val asked us who would enroll in the class, my mind initially said no because I thought it might be too difficult and I was in Claveria, Misamis Oriental at that time, which was too far away for me. However, when Pastor Val asked me directly, "Do you want to enroll?" I answered, "Yes." I wonder why I replied that way. I should have said no. Nevertheless, when the class started, I realized it was a great opportunity for me to evangelize my relatives and friends in college. I am profoundly grateful to the Lord that I enrolled in the class because it was an achievement for me to share the Gospel with many people and experience the joy of studying the Word of God.”
