Happy Spring!
The weather is warming up and baseball, golf and outdoor events are BACK! There are so many opportunities to grow your business and CPPA is here for that! We hope you will join us for Pinots and Promos at Sugarloaf Mountain Winery on April 20th. We have a great lineup of exhibitors and some great giveaways as well. Let’s toast to a successful spring selling season!
Your board and specifically, the Events Committee, is making an effort to host events in different cities in our region so we can reach as many members as possible. That said, if you have a connection to any venues or ideas for events, we’d love to hear from you. Coming up on April 26 at 12:30, join the Wild Wednesday Webinar series with Tim Andrews of ASI who will discuss the state of the industry. Stay tuned for more information on an Orioles outing as well! And make sure you save the date for our FALL EXPO on September 7 at Laurel Park.
Remember, this is YOUR association! Your board is open to all suggestions. We welcome your participation whether it’s on a committee or you just want to email an idea or comment. Our goal is to provide the most value possible to our members. Your feedback is instrumental in helping us to achieve that for CPPA. Let’s do this, TOGETHER!

After the show portion, we will all head up to the winery for a happy hour to network as well as sample the vineyard's offerings. Attendees will receive 1 drink ticket, a wine tote and commemorative wine glass.

Promo Leaders To Converge On Nation’s Capital With NALC And L.E.A.D.
The North American Leadership Conference is coming to the nation’s capital this June.
NALC is promo’s premier gathering of leaders from distributors, suppliers and service providers. It can serve as something of a temperature check for the most prevalent issues facing promo in any given year. With top-notch education pertaining to the industry and high-profile speakers, NALC is also a networking opportunity in a more intimate environment than The PPAI Expo.
“No other industry event comes close to the executive level education that NALC provides,” says Dale Denham, PPAI’s president and CEO. “Everyone leaves with new insights and new connections in addition to catching up with and strengthening existing connections.”

We work in such an interesting industry, there hasn’t been one person I’ve come across that isn’t passionate about promo. Each product has a story to tell, and there’s so much that can bring promotional products to life in the form of a story.

It’s Time To Submit Your Most Creative Campaigns To PPAI’s Pyramid Awards
Submissions for PPAI’s 2024 Pyramid Awards are now accepted through May 12. PPAI’s annual Pyramid Awards, sponsored by Pacesetter Awards Co., celebrates creative excellence in the promotional products industry. These outstanding promotions and creative campaigns represent the artistry and skill of Association members.
The submissions for the 2024 Pyramid Awards must be chosen from campaigns created between April 1, 2022, and April 1, 2023. Entries should represent a devotion to client relationships, demonstrate the ingenuity of the promo industry and yield measurable results.
