Under the direction of Elena MacDonald, our middle school choirs performed the National Anthem at Angels Stadium. Fulton, Masuda, and Talbert choirs showcased their talents, performing together for a packed house at Angels Stadium.

Friday Fun Series

Masuda ASB continued its Friday Fun series with Mario Kart Races! Students and staff were seen pedaling their hearts out on the blacktop obstacle course as fellow Monarchs cheered them on. What a memorable middle school moment!

Talbert

Talbert Middle School's Creativity Club hosted a positively perfect pumpkin-filled afternoon for a packed room of creative students. Spooky jack-o-lanterns and smiling faces reflect what a hit this project was.

PAL at Plavan

Peer Assistance Leadership

Peer Assistance Leadership (PAL) is a school-based, peer-to-peer youth development program for students in grades 4-12. PAL teams help build a positive school climate through youth leadership, mentoring, conflict resolution, cross-age teaching, service learning, and prevention activities. The PAL program supports skill development in leadership, communication, team building, and problem-solving. Teachers from Plavan, Gisler, and Cox attended the OCDE PAL training.

Elementary Teachers Hands on Training

The FVSD Math Fellowship cohort is made up of educators committed to intensive, training focused on understanding how children's mathematical ideas develop and providing opportunities to build upon a child's thinking. These research-based strategies are part of FVSD's Signature Teaching Practices.

Anonymous Tip Line

FVSD has an Anonymous Reporting tip line. There is a dedicated phone line for FVSD which is manned 24/7. You can call or text the phone number or use the QR code or the link on each school site's webpage to file a report. These tips are sent to the appropriate people to help ensure the safety of our students. If you need assistance with your child at school, please get in touch with the teacher and/or principal directly.
