Save the date for the 2023 Common Good Awards with Envision Utah!

Please join us for a special luncheon to celebrate Envision Utah's 2023 Common Good Awards!  Each year, the Common Good Awards are given to the people and organizations who are doing great things for Utah’s future. Award winners will be announced in November.  This year’s event will also feature an interactive panel discussion on the future of housing, water, transportation, and open space and recreation — four issues central to the Guiding Our Growth process.  Special thanks to Governor Spencer Cox, Honorary Co-Chair of Envision Utah, who will help present this year’s awards.

Discover Valuable Parenting Insights from Envision Utah's Early Learning Team

School is back in session for the older kids, but what about your baby or toddler? You can get them ready for school, friends, and life with a little extra brain-building in those simple, shared, everyday moments you have together!

Try this Vroom Tip called Air Race

Invite your child to collect rocks, sticks, or leaves of different weights. Ask them to predict what will happen if they drop two different things at the same time and then test it out. Do some things fall faster than others? Talk back and forth about what you notice and what might be happening.

What they’re learning:

When you and your child play Air Race, you're encouraging them to think like a scientist. You're designing an experiment to test how different objects fall.

Vroom® Resources

Envision Utah's Early Learning team offers helpful tips to parents, grandparents, and caregivers on how everyday interactions can become intentional teaching moments to help build and develop children's brains. Check out this month's Vroom Tip™.
