DAVID'S COOKIES FUNDRAISER IS BACK!

Dear Parents, Guardians, & Friends,

We are sponsoring a fundraiser and we need your support. We are offering the famous and delicious David's Cookie Dough. Miss Gail's class took a Community Based Instruction (CBI) trip to the Borough of Oakland Police Department to finish out their unit on Rules and Laws in the Community. Students toured the police station and the town courthouse. Thank you, Officer Albert and the Oakland Police Department for welcoming us!

Last month The CTC Academy’s Technology Coordinator/

Assistive Technology Specialist, Janet DeSenzo was invited to present on Adaptive Technology and the Arts at the 7th Annual Assistive Technology & Community Living Summit presented by The Richard West Assistive Technology Advocacy Center (ATAC) of Disability Rights of New Jersey (DRNJ) which is a comprehensive statewide program of technology related assistance designed to increase access to assistive technology for people with disabilities of all ages.

Fair Lawn Physical Therapy Department

October is National Physical Therapy Month! Physical Activity is vital for every child's health and quality of life. Physical therapists help children of all abilities participate and reach their unique potential.

CTC's Fair Lawn campus will celebrate by inviting staff and students to participate in their month-long activities! Staff can participate in the ‘Equipment Naming Contest’. There will be a weekly prize winner drawn from correct entries. Students will celebrate with fun, Halloween themed, gross motor stations set up around campus.

The CTC Academy thanks our therapists for their hard work, dedication and for arranging this celebration!

Oakland Physical Therapy Department

It’s that time of year when CTC Academy recognizes the hard work and dedication of our physical therapists and highlights the progress our students have made. The team in Oakland excels in many different areas and we celebrate their achievements this National Physical Therapy month.

CTC Academy therapists specialize in aquatics, manual therapy, balance and equipment to name a few. Their skills and enthusiasm enhance the lives of our students and make their school day enjoyable.

CTC Academy recognizes our PT’s and thanks them for their hard work and dedication this month and all year long!
