Elementary School News

March 9, 2023

Dear Wildcat Supporters,

A very sincere thank you to all of you that came out and supported our school budget for the 23-24 school year.

We have been buzzing with exciting learning activities here on both of our elementary campuses since returning from vacation!

A SRES, we are super thankful to our PTO for providing us with an opportunity to have an up close presentation from the Vermont's Institute of Science and learn about Owls and Raptors!

At BES and SRES we kicked off the Kids Heart Challenge (formerly Jump Rope for Heart)!

We wrapped up a successful Snowcats winter activities season with our last ski at Saskadina Six and each campus participated in Read Across America Day!

All this on top of our regular learning!

Again, thank you for supporting our school and your children!

Respectfully, Responsibly, Safely and Kindly,

Principal Bowen

Monica Farrington's 2nd grade

In Math the 2nd graders have been working on telling time and recognizing coins and what they are worth. Students learned about quarter to the hour, half past the hour and a.m. and p.m. They have found different ways to make $1 and how much money they would get back after purchasing an item. Students have been practicing these skills in the morning, during math and also playing games.
