PSD announces program, facility changes for 2024-25

Declining enrollment is an issue in school districts across the nation, especially in Colorado, where housing costs are rising and birth rates are falling. In order to adjust to changes in our population, Poudre School District plans to make some consolidations and moves starting in 2024-25.

PGA students grow connections, skills through school garden club

Since its launch in 2021, the garden at Poudre Global Academy has expanded threefold and helped students cultivate their knowledge of planting, harvesting, and cooking with the food they grow. Students and families can take home fresh produce from the garden, and the school's Garden Club plans to feed even more of their community in the future. PSD strives to create calendars that take into account the interests of our many students, families, and staff. The survey is open until Oct. 16. Valuing student connections

Feeling a sense of belonging at school is vital to a student's well-being. Poudre School District students in grades 4-12 are invited to fill out the PSD Student Connections Check-in form between Oct. 16 and Nov. 17 to share their feelings about support and connection at school. Parents and guardians can preview the form for elementary school students at this link and preview the middle and high school student form at this link.>>

Creativity flows during CLPM River Week

Each fall, Cache La Poudre Middle School students spend a week exploring the river from which their school draws its name. Teachers find unique ways to connect the subject they teach with the river behind the school, from writing poems and stories about the river in language classes to studying macroinvertebrates in science class to playing instruments along the riverbanks for music class. This year's River Week took place Sept. 25-29.
