Indian Waters Council Reaches Year-end Membership Growth

Congratulations to our volunteers throughout the council's 19-county territory on the historic achievement of year-end membership growth for the Indian Waters Council.

As of October 5th, the council reached exactly 3,500 registered youth members (vs. 3,486 on 12-31-22), and we are still growing – no stopping now!

Six of our eight districts have also achieved year-end membership growth (Atakwa, Capital Rivers, Edisto, Etowah Creek, Henry Shelor, and Wateree districts). The other two (Chicora and Chinquapin) are close behind!

This also reflects 18 consecutive months of annual membership growth, and the council currently has a +7.6% gain vs. October 31, 2022.

The council also finished September with +9.82% annual membership growth rate, ranking #1 among all 19 councils in BSA's National Service Territory #15…and all 8 districts achieved growth in September. Way to go!!
