SAFETY TIP: During severe weather, it's essential to stay safe around electrical equipment. If you experience a power outage, use flashlights instead of candles to prevent fire hazards. Avoid standing water near electrical outlets, and never attempt to turn off power at the breaker box during a storm. Your safety is paramount, so wait for professionals to address electrical issues.
We are proud to announce a significant milestone in our commitment to renewable energy! EDF Renewables North America has recently signed a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with El Paso Electric (EPE), marking a pivotal step towards a sustainable energy future. This agreement encompasses the output from the impressive 150 MWac Milagro Solar and the 75 MW / 300 MWh Milagro Storage Project, set to commence commercial operations in 2025.

The Milagro Solar+Storage project, nestled in the scenic Santa Teresa area of Doña Ana County, New Mexico, will yield roughly 469,500 MWh of clean energy annually, avoiding over 333,000 metric tons of carbon emissions each year – equivalent to the emissions from 74,000 passenger vehicles in one year. We work together towards a more sustainable and eco-friendly tomorrow.
El Paso Electric (EPE) is excited to introduce a new level of convenience for our valued customers in Fabens and surrounding communities. With the installation of a brand-new drive-up payment kiosk located next to the Fabens Distribution Center, making secure payments has never been easier.

This self-service kiosk, operational 24/7, 365 days a year, accepting cash, credit cards, and electronic checks, ensuring flexibility for our customers. At EPE, we are dedicated to providing accessible payment solutions, and this drive-up kiosk is another step in that direction.

During Hispanic Heritage Month, our employees came together to celebrate and honor the rich cultural tapestry of Hispanic heritage through a series of inspiring "Pintaprende" sessions. These engaging sessions allowed our team members to unleash their creativity as they painted iconic figures such as Selena, Celia Cruz, Blue Demon, El Santo, and Frida Kahlo.

As the vibrant colors swirled on canvas, our employees also had the privilege of listening to speakers who shared valuable insights into the historical significance of this special month and the profound contributions of these iconic figures. It was a time of artistic expression, cultural appreciation, and enlightenment, fostering a deeper understanding of the diverse heritage that makes our organization and our community so beautifully rich.
