Nourish to Flourish Drive- Thank You SAKLC!

Pastor Blyth’s words from Sunday’s service take on a whole new meaning after this most recent storm. He said: "This is food that we collected from the 'Nourish to Flourish' drive. Food that will go to people who are hungry in our community, and today there will be even more hungry people than when these bags first arrived to the church. So on a weekend of devastation and loss, it is prudent that we begin with a blessing as these bags will be taken to homes of people who desperately need them."

"Good and loving God, we give you thanks for the kindness & generosity of all the people that brought food into the church - not to feed their church home but for those hungry homes and hungry mouths all over our community. Bless the hands that collected these bags, those that delivered these bags and bless the homes that they will find their way in to. We bless them now in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirt. Amen"

Women’s Ministry Save the Dates!



On Tuesday, October 29th, 10:30 in the music room, our Women's Book Group will discuss the second half of My Dear Hamilton by Stephanie Dray.

On Tuesday, December 3rd, 10:30 in the music room, we'll discuss Beyond That, The Sea by Laura Spence Ash.

Saturday, December 7th, 12:30 in Fellowship Hall, we'll enjoy our Advent Luncheon. All women are welcome.

Refugee Ministry

Pastor Ken's Weekly Bible Study

Join us this Fall

Join Pr. Ken each weekly as he leads Bible study! These sessions take place on Wednesday mornings from 11:00am-noon both in-person and on zoom.

The class discusses the Scripture texts assigned for the forthcoming Sunday worship services. Each week there is a good mix of lay people and retired pastors, with each group bringing their unique perspectives on life and Scripture – it’s a fun group!

Pr. Ken shares a calendar month of handouts in advance so that participants can look ahead and read the comments of Lutheran scholars prior to each session. Please click the button below to have materials sent to you.
