Lenten Soup Suppers

Wednesday evenings on March 1, 8, 22, and 29.

5:30 - 7 PM in the Parish Hall

These suppers are a highlight of our church year.  Our format for this year will be similar to 2022; we plan to keep things simple, with a focus on conversation and fellowship rather than guest speakers and lectures. Our conversations this year will be centered around a daily devotional entitled Living Well Through Lent, published by Living Compass. These devotionals are now available in the narthex, so please pick one up, or contact the church if you need for us to mail you a copy. We hope you will plan to join us for delicious soups, great conversation, and evening worship.

Beryl Kenney Ordination

Those of you who have been here at Trinity for a while will have fond memories of our former seminarian Beryl Kenney, who did her field study with us from 2010-2012. In God's own time, Beryl is finally going to be ordained! In Beryl's words, "It will be a non-denominational and interfaith service, as reflects my vocation for the last decade." Please keep Beryl in your prayers as she approaches this joyous and long-awaited occasion. If you wish to attend, you would be very welcome! Please RSVP to the email address on the invitation (chaplainberyl@gmail.com). Congratulations, Beryl!

Ashley Harper-Oberle, whom this parish sponsored for seminary, has taken a big step! Linked below is the letter from Bishop Ryan informing Ashley that she has been made a Candidate for Holy Orders. Ashley is just over half-way through seminary, and she is loving it. Ashley is so grateful for the love and support she has received from this church, and we are so proud of her and the progress she has made in following God's call to the priesthood.   Read the official letter here - LINK

Women's Bible/Book Study

Tuesday, March 7, Noon-1:30 PM

Parish Hall Classroom

"I am the Way." John 14:6. According to our author, Diana Butler Bass, Jesus embodies a "way of being in this world, so close to the heart of God that God can be known in and through him" (p. 168, Freeing Jesus). Love is the energy, and love is the Way. Please join us for a lively discussion led by Sally Anderson on how we find the Way.

Join Us for a Trinity Church Clean Up Day!

Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 9am to 11am, lunch provided after. What we hope to get done: window’s washed and the parish hall kitchen a little extra scrub.

Bring cleaning towels if you have some!

Email Greg if you have questions: gregsoechting@gmail.com

Our usual Sunday class is a journey through the Bible using The Path.  Occasionally, we branch off The Path as noted in the schedule below.  The Path is the story of the Bible, excerpted in a format that is clear & easy to read. To prime our pumps for discussion, please read the Chapter and its Questions for the Journey from The Path before the assigned Sunday. You are always welcome to attend class whether you have done the assigned reading or not.
