If you are, even a little bit, sign the interest sheet in the Narthex and note your preference for a daytime or evening group. Watch for more details in the coming weeks.
Women's Potluck Breakfast
The Ministry of Christian Education is inviting all the ladies to attend a potluck breakfast on Saturday, April 22nd at 9:00 am here at church.

Take a few moments this week to fill out the survey we have put together concerning future Women's events.
Teen Faith in Action - Birthday Boxes
Our Teens had a wonderful success with their Birthday Box Promotion! They received donations to put 28 gift boxes together - supplies for those in-need families who want to celebrate a birthday. These were donated to the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Interfaith Food Pantry.

Many thanks to all who contributed, and to the Bunco gals who contributed their receipts for this cause!

We are Preparing Hygiene Kits
for CWS
During the month of April we will be receiving your donations toward our of $750 goal. We will use these funds to provide CWS with 50 Feminine Hygiene Kits (we need $15 to fill each one!). We will be coordinating a packing date sometime in May.

As of April 3rd, we have reached 8% of our goal. Watch the Thermometer of Giving, posted in Fellowship Hall, to see how it is going!
Sunday, April 9th
ALITH Interfaith Food Pantry
We will be passing the boxes on Easter Sunday for our monthly donation to the Food Pantry. As always we have a current Needs List in the Narthex and near the Grocery Cart (by the elevator) for you to use when you shop. Just add 2 items when you do your shopping and drop them off when you come to church!
What's New at the Attic?

The new windows, along with freshly cleaned curtains and blinds, have brought the sunshine into the shop and are keeping the cold out!

During the remodeling we asked to keep some of the original window weights and a few of the wood windows so that a bit of history could be passed on and re-used. One of the shop volunteers is a stained glass artisan and has plans to turn an old window into a work of art! If interested in the window weights, see JoAnn Schindler or Dian Granath.

In March the Attic donated to Kids in Need of McHenry. The April donation from the Heavenly Attic will go to NISRA (Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association).

5th Sunday - April 30th
With all of the weather events and other disasters happening all over the country,
the Ministry of Missions has selected
The Salvation Army to be our 5th Sunday Offering recipient for April.
Contact the Church Office for a current Shut-In Roster, Birthday or Anniversary List. A current Church Directory is available in the Church Office.
