What You Need to Know

Students in grades 1-8: are once again being asked to wear school uniforms to Open House. When the students visit and check-in to their classroom IN UNIFORM, their teacher will give them a special “reward”.

Preschool 3 – K: although Early Childhood children don’t wear uniforms, when they visit their classroom, their teacher will still have a little attendance “reward” for them! Optional: Feel free to have your PS3 - K children join in the fun by wearing the school colors, Blue & Gold, or their Service Day T-Shirts or SFX Spirit Wear.

St. Francis Xavier students will participate in the Scripps National Spelling Bee for grades 4-8 on Thursday, January 26 at 1:50 in the gym. Parents are welcome to attend. Each homeroom held a classroom bee to determine the grade-level students (2 winners from each room) who will advance to the all-school bee. The following students are the classroom winners! Congratulations!

These students will compete at the school-wide bee. The winner will advance to the regional competition in March. Additionally, the top 5 winners of the school-wide bee are invited to participate in the Knights of Columbus Spelling Bee hosted at St. Francis on February 4th. More details to come.

Good luck to all of our spellers!
