Livestream RECAP

SCRC's latest caregiving class, "Making the Most Out of Your Doctor's Visit", is now available to watch on our Facebook and YouTube pages.

Doctors usually spend less than 15 minutes per patient. Visiting the doctor can be confusing and overwhelming. During this class, you'll learn how to have a successful doctor's appointment and maximize the time of your visit.

Episode 54: Empowering Caregivers through Education

In this month's episode, Roberto and Martha discuss continuous education for caregivers, many of whom are navigating a new role in their life. The need for information - disease related, behavior management, self-care tools - is never-ending. Listen to their discussion about how to access resources, education, and trainings for family caregivers through various outlets, including California Department of Aging's CalGrows program. CalGrows helps you develop your skills and provide quality care.
