The Regional Board has given approval to request that the Province renew a Crown License of Occupation for a North Westside community park for another ten years. The original tenure license was granted in 2007 for a slightly more than two hectare parcel along Westshore Road on which the Regional District has developed a playground, picnic area and band shelter, parking area, washrooms and a multi-use sports field known as Westshore Estates Community Park.
Killiney Beach Community Library has received $2000 in funding for 2018 from the Okanagan Regional Library (ORL). Our library is on Udell Rd. next to our Community Hall and is open on Wed. 11am - 1pm and Sat. 10am - noon. All are welcome!
