Support JAG-K with End-of-Year Donation

With 114 programs across the state, we will serve approximately 6,000 students this year. Over the past 11 years, more than 20,000 students have participated in and benefited from JAG-K.

Despite our students facing numerous barriers to success, our graduation rate in 2024 was 97 percent. We help some of the students statistically least likely to graduate do so at a higher rate than the state average! And we don’t stop at graduation. JAG-K has a one-year follow-up program with each graduate to help them transition successfully into post-secondary education, the military, or directly into the workforce.

We are making a difference, but there are many more students across Kansas who need our help.

Will you consider helping JAG-K prepare students for successful futures by sending a tax-deductible donation today to JAG-K?

Student Leaders Receive Training, Experience at NSLA in Washington, D.C.

JAG-K is training future leaders!

One of the highlights of each year is the National Student Leadership Academy (NSLA) in Washington D.C., to which JAG-K takes student leaders and select staff for training. In addition to touring the nation’s capitol and meeting with members of the Kansas Congressional delegation and staff, the students participate in training sessions and learn from their peers across the nation.

Among those who attended NSLA this year were JAG-K statewide elected officers:

President Kameron Welch, Emporia High School; Vice President Noah Maldonado, Junction City High School; Secretary, Hannah Greenleaf, Kiowa County High School; Parliamentarian, Kalli Peterson, Eudora High School.

Regional Vice Presidents: AJ Hase, Emporia High School; Jaden Exantus, Junction City High School; K'Lynn Lawrence, Washington High School; and Isaiah Douglass, Goodland High School.

As the year comes to a close, we invite you to help train more future leaders of Kansas. See below how you can contribute to the mission of JAG-K.
