Tech Toolbox

Google Applied Digital Skills

Did you know that Google has FREE lessons for a wide variety of digital tools and concepts? These are great for teachers and students. Subjects include researching and developing topics to avoiding scams, using Google Slides to create a cookbook and many more! Click here: Applied Digital Skills

Botley 2.0 Coding Robot

We have five new Botley robots in our REMC 2C library! Botley's are an award winning educational robot and are great for teaching coding. They do not require a screen and are very easy to use. Check them out from the REMC 2C library and we will send them to you via regional bus mail. It's so easy!

Tech the Halls

We had an incredible response to this event! Forty registered participants signed up to learn asynchronously about Google Chrome extensions and add-ons. Using School Specialty, we were able to put together these awesome gift baskets for the winners! We had so much fun with this that we will be doing a similar event in the spring. Stay tuned!

Classroom Grants

Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning (MACUL) grants will support up to $1,000 in learning resources, materials or equipment for your classroom. MACUL grants serve to grow innovative learning models. Implementing the grant process in your classroom will innovate your teaching and your students' learning.

Student-Centered Learning Across Michigan COHORT 2

Student-Centered Learning Across Michigan is a six-week, mostly asynchronous series to build a blended learning framework to help educators meet the needs of all students - even when they are absent. Participants will learn skills to gain a clearer picture of student learning and a blended learning model that allows teachers to work with small groups while learning continues in the classroom.

This series will train teachers in any subject area, grade level or school to implement three core research-based practices that have been proven to impact student and teacher outcomes.

The next cohort starts on Jan. 9, 2023, and runs through Feb. 19, 2023.
