Upcoming Ask An Industry Leader Series:

  1. Conflict Management - November 4th at 12 noon
  2. Remote Workforce Management - Rescheduling to the first week in December

Nutanix provides cloud software and hyperconverged infrastructure solutions to healthcare organizations around the world to bring one-click application management and mobility across public, private and hybrid clouds to improve clinical and IT workflows throughout the continuum of care. This simplicity allows customers to run clinical and business applications such as EHR, PACS, Revenue Cycle and Big Data that lower the total cost of ownership and allow healthcare workers to focus on what really matters – patient care.

Nutanix is committed to supporting WHIT because, with our mission in mind, we are still saddened to see how little opportunity there is in the industry to provide women in IT with groups of like-minded peers to collaborate with. WHIT's commitment to bringing resources, information and people together for this underserved group is critical if we are going to continue improving the balance of the workforce in the right direction. We are thrilled to offer up knowledge, networking and any other resources needed to provide a full scope of information for WHIT's members.

Mentorship Update

“Having you as a mentor has improved my networking and communication skills. Not only that it has added confidence to me which will help me throughout my life to achieve my goals” – N. Sharma

The Mentorship Committee recently completed a well-attended & engaging 'Ask An Industry Leader' (AAIL) session on Effective Negotiating. Next up for AAIL is a webinar on Conflict Management on Friday, November 4th followed by one on Remote Workforce Management on Monday, December 5th. We hope you can join us for one or both of them. We also will be kicking off a new cohort of mentor-mentee pairs this month along with a new advice column, called 'Dear Whitty Women', by the end of the year.

Launching in quarter one of 2023 is a Peer-to-Peer Mentoring series so be on the lookout for that. If you have any interest in participating in our mentorship program please email us at whittywomen@gmail.com.

“There are so many things I have enjoyed about being a member of WHIT. They provide such outstanding networking opportunities with an extensive group of experienced leaders, along with a strong support system, to help us achieve our career goals. The most beneficial part of being involved in WHIT for me individually has been the relationship I have shared with my Mentor as part of their Mentoring Program. Her experience, wealth of knowledge, and unwavering positive support has helped me grow not only as a businesswoman but also as a person. I not only consider her a mentor, I consider her a friend. I am excited to see what the last quarter has to offer as I continue to grow in my career.”
