Hello everybody!
We continue to pray for Fr. Jeff and Parish Operations Team as they are participating in the
Religious Education Congress in Los Angeles. Wishing them a wonderful conference with days
full of God’s grace and joy.
We are now in the first week of Lent and we are on the journey with Jesus into the desert of our
life. In order to be fully immersed in the Lenten experience, the Church gives us three
extraordinary ways to draw closer to God: prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. They are gifts to us
for deepening our relationship with Jesus and renewing the choices we make, so that we might
live as He taught. May this season of Lent be a time of growth and renewal for you as you move
forward with the assurance of God’s forgiveness and the trust that God embraces you with arms
of love.
We will kick-off our annual stewardship renewal this weekend at all Masses (March 4 & 5) for
the upcoming fiscal year that begins July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024. Fr. Jeff will extend an
invitation for you to take that next best step to grow in love, faith and generosity. We also look
forward to welcoming our witness speakers at the masses, parishioners Tony and Maggie
Bieda, who joined St. Patrick in 2021. This year we are continually called to strengthen and
think deeply of our own stewardship way of life. I invite every one of you to give of your time,
talent and treasure to fulfill the mission entrusted to our parish. With your continued support, we
can do even more in the coming year to build up St. Pats and the kingdom of God. Renewal packets are being mailed to all households this week.
Peace,
Fr. Quan
