Retiring Senator Patrick Leahy dropped the gavel one last time, closing the 117th session of Congress in the Senate and making way for Rep. Becca Balint and Sen. Peter Welch to be sworn in to Congress today. Senator Leahy’s farewell address on 12/20/22 marked the transition.

This eight-hour virtual training from the Vermont Department of Public Safety will familiarize local Emergency Management Directors and Coordinators with major roles, responsibilities, and “how to do it” guidance across all four phases of Emergency Management.
