Librarian's Corner

For the last several months, the library has been working on updating our strategic plan to help us meet our community's emerging and future needs. We are excited to invite you to hear about our plan progress. The library will be hosting an open forum for community members where your thoughtful input will help us shape our plan to guide the future. The forum will provide a briefing on the status of the strategic planning process and invite your input.

We hope you will join us and fellow community members in the forum, to be held at the library on Tuesday September 17 from 6-7pm.

Your ideas will be used to inform decision-making on future library goals, services, and programs as we develop the strategic plan. Your perspective is so valuable to our process. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP by emailing sarah.comstock@loomislibrary.org or by calling the library at (916) 824-2905. We hope to see you there!

Please note the following dates this month:

  • September 21st: Get Batty with NorCal Bats
  • September 28th: Decorate a Tote-ally Awesome Tote
  • September 14th: Library closes at 2:00pm
  • September 17th: Library closes at 6:00pm
