Dear Fourth Church,
Good morning! We hope you can join us tomorrow for Maundy Thursday service at 7:30 p.m., when we'll commemorate Jesus' Last Supper with his disciples and the command he issued there. Come back Friday for the 7:30 p.m. Tenebrae Service of Darkness, focusing on the crucifixion of Christ; this service ends without a benediction, in order to anticipate celebrating our Lord's resurrection.
Easter Sunday offers five services for worship and rejoicing in the glory of the risen Lord. See the schedule below or visit 4thpres.org/holy-week for further details; please note that Easter Sunday includes an extra worship service at 9:30 a.m. in lieu of the regular Sunday School hour.
NOTE
• ADULT DISCIPLESHIP: New classes start April 27 — Inner Strength for a Lasting Marriage; Principles for Living Godly Lives in a Worldly World; GENtoREV: New Testament; and Scripture Study: 1 John. Visit 4thpres.org/adultdiscipleship for details on all classes.
TWO WAYS TO LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR EASTER SUNDAY
• Free up parking space for guests attending the 8, 9:30, and 11 a.m. services by parking your car at nearby Wood Acres Elementary School. Then take one of the church vans running to and from the church, 7:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. More information can be found on the Holy Week webpage.
• Serve as a parking lot attendant to facilitate a good experience for our guests. Email Genna Reeder at greeder@4thpres.org to sign up.
Peace and grace to you,
Susan Kemp
