Believe it or not, having a will is not the only plan you need to make to protect your legacy. Dr. Pierre Darmon will walk us through the pitfalls of dying without preparing your digital life for the "afterlife." How will the people who survive you deal with the continuing dangers of your digital legacy? Don't let your heirs, family, friends, and everyone you have ever known be scammed from your grave. Aging Together Presents:
Sharpen Your Mind
"Little Known Tips That Will Sharpen Your Mind and Memory”
Most of us know that our brains function best with healthy food, sound sleep, and regular exercise, social interaction, and mental stimulation. Join Lisa Feiner, a founder of the nonprofit, Sharp Again Naturally, to learn about some lesser-known contributors to memory loss and steps you can take today (and keep practicing) to keep your mind functioning well.
-
Note from Dr. Rosanne Leipzig, CBST board member and geriatrician: “It is recommended that you speak with a trusted medical provider before making major changes to your health regimen. Additionally, Sharp Again Naturally does not claim that all cognition challenges can be reversed but many providers agree that making lifestyle changes can contribute to the possibility of improved cognition and a better quality of life.”
-
Note from Lisa Feiner, Co-Founder of Sharp Again Naturally and National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach: “There are many companies today that provide products claiming to protect us from electromagnetic radiation. Sharp Again Naturally does not promote any particular products nor do we have a relationship with any manufacturers of equipment or supplements. I personally have used products from GIA wellness because there is scientific research to support the products' efficacy. The products are not inexpensive. Dr. Elizabeth Plourde is a researcher I have met and spoken to. She developed products that may be somewhat less expensive. You may also be interested in Safesleeve for your cellphone."

For those of us in NYC, please call City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams today at (212) 788-6850. Tell her you support the Age in Place NYC legislative package and urge her to pass this critical legislation. The ten-bill package includes legislation to fix some of the most pressing problems facing older adults including housing insecurity, healthcare access, cultural competence in service delivery, and accessibility. The legislative package is an important step in combating ageism and creating a more age-friendly city.

"Happily Aging Without Children" applies to many of us without children, and even to those of us who have children but are separated from them for one reason or another.
And take this to heart: "Three Steps to Age Exuberantly"—An 86-year-old author has a few rules to live by even when the trials of getting older make it easy to complain. 💜
