November 2024

FROM THE DIRECTOR

As the holidays approach, the teachers are helping our Little Saints become aware of their many blessings and express their thanks with grateful hearts. I am so thankful for the precious children and families that we serve here at All Saints School, and our incredible teachers and staff who pour so much of themselves into their work. Please know that you are ALL on the top of my “thankful list” this Thanksgiving, and always.

Before we jump into all things Thanksgiving and Christmas, I would like to give a huge thank you to Emilee Fenn and Brittany Schetzle for chairing this year’s Trunk-or-Treat! The trunks were incredible, and it was a fantastic morning of fall fun! Thank you to everyone who served on the committee and made the event possible, especially Heather Allen, Emily Bearden, Stephanie Gaston, Maura Gillon, Melanie Gonzalez, Emily Hillman, Alice Maguire, Carol Mertz, Liberty Rothamel, Caroline Swanson, and Sonia Tankersley. A special shout-out to Kevin Fenn, our incredible parking lot warden, John Tankersley and Mike Gillon, our muscles, and Chase Evans, our wooden photo backdrop engineer!

To everyone who donated pumpkins to our Outdoor Classroom last month, thank you! A lot of amazing hands-on learning took place as the children hauled, carried, rolled, dropped, measured, stacked, planted, and cracked some open to explore the insides.

Lots of exciting things are in the works here at All Saints School. Read below to stay informed and up to date…and don’t forget to order your holiday wreaths and garlands!

With Love,

Emory

All Saints School Sunday | November 10th

We’re so excited to invite you to All Saints School Sunday!

Sunday, November 10th at the 10 a.m. service in the Church, join All Saints as we hear the word of the Lord together! You're invited to bring your family for a kid-friendly sermon and a Communion Service geared just for you! This will feel similar to our Wednesday Chapel services and is a time for us all to worship together. We’ll hear a Sermon from Rev. Lo and music from your students. We can’t wait to worship together!

Thanksgiving Feast | November 21st

Join us on Thursday, November 21st at 12 noon for a musical performance by our Threes, Pre-K, and Kindergarten classes. Families and siblings are welcome! A Thanksgiving reception with a lunch option will immediately follow the adorable performance choreographed by Ms. Jennifer (Music) and our amazing teachers.

Everyone is welcome at this festive event, but it is typically only attended by families of children in our Threes, Pre-K, and Kindergarten classes.
