CHOOSE JOY

This is what the coaster says on my desk. I see it quite often during the day (except when there is a cup of coffee on it!)

This serves as my reminder that I have a choice each day…I can choose to be anxious and see life as burdensome OR I can CHOOSE to see the JOY that fills my space every day.

This comes in the smiles and laughter of my students, in my interactions with faculty and staff, etc. There is so much to make me smile! I just have to choose to see it!

Can you make the choice this week to see the JOY that surrounds you?

In doing so we cannot help but give thanks to God!

Our students truly enjoyed their field trip at the

Connecticut Science Center!

Gym class is moved to tomorrow. Please make sure your son or daughter wears there gym uniform. Music class has been moved to Friday.

As the weather gets colder, please keep our students warm with their school sweaters!

Make sure their name is in all clothing. Thank you!

Protecting God's Children

Please see the attached overview of this new program we are required to implement through the Archdiocese. We will focus on the first two lessons this year; Lesson 1: Physical Boundaries and Lesson 2: Safe Adults and Safe Touch.

As a parent you can opt-out of this program for your child. The form is attached. If you do not want your child to participate in this lesson, please send the form to school with your signature. These forms are due by Tuesday, October 29th. If we do not receive an opt-out form from you then we will assume your child may participate in these lessons.

Your child’s teacher will inform you of the exact date these lessons will be taught. We will do one in November and one in December.

If you have any questions, please reach out to me or your child’s teacher.

Thank you,

Sr. Diane
