Let's welcome and congratulate JoAnne H. as our new Treasurer. The Central Office remains looking for a new Recording Secretary and board member for Intergroup. Please see the requirements for Recording Secretary below:

RECORDING SECRETARY

Must have 1 year of sobriety, be a member of the Intergroup for six (6) months, and will be a voting board member.

Open Committee Members Position

IGL (Intergroup Liaison): must have 2 years of sobriety. This is like a GSR position for a group, but for Central Office: OPEN

Reminder you now can make a 7th Tradition contribution via PayPal or a credit/debit card. Look for the Donate button. Individuals can also set up monthly donations as well as choosing an option to offset the cost for RCCO to process.

Need a Service Position? RCCO NEEDS YOU!

Central Office is looking for volunteers Tuesday & Wednesday from 3-5pm. Examples of tasks volunteers complete in the office: answering phone, making and folding copies of schedules, selling books and literature, talking with visitors. Interested? Contact rivercities@rcco-aa.org

Intergroup is made up of AA groups from the Tri-State area (Arizona, California and Nevada).
Dist. 09-903 Business Meeting: 3rd Monday of the Month January 16th
Treatment Committee: 2nd Wednesday at 5pm January 11th

Groups can purchase Newcomer Packets for $2 each and packets of 10 meeting schedules at $2 per packet.

**What is a Faithful Fiver???

Faithful Fivers are AA members who in gratitude pledge to contribute at least five dollars each month toward the support of Central Office in it's quest to carry the AA message of hope and recovery to those alcoholics who still suffer in the Tri-State area.

The Faithful Fiver idea came about when we remembered that many of us wasted many times more than that amount each month during our drinking days. Your contribution (which is Tax Deductible) will help Central Office fulfil its duties.

GaL-AA (Gays and Lesbians in Alcoholics Anonymous) was established to serve and have the involvement of lesbians, gay men, and others in Alcoholics Anonymous, regardless of how they choose to identify themselves. In selecting the name, careful consideration was given to a variety of combinations. While the name only directly reflects gays and lesbians, we embrace all LGBT+ members of the AA fellowship.

Steps, Traditions & Concepts of AA

Step 1: "We admitted we were powerless over alcohol - that our lives had become unmanageable."

Tradition 1: "Our common welfare should come first; personal recovery depends upon A.A. unity."

Concept 1: "The final responsibility and ultimate authority for A.A. world services should always reside in the collective conscience of our whole Fellowship."

The General Service Office is Reopened to Visitors

Visitors are welcome to the General Service Office Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Tours are scheduled at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and 2 p.m., and last about 45 minutes.

On Fridays, G.S.O. hosts an open A.A. meeting at 11 a.m. There is also a guided tour offered after the meeting at 12:15 p.m.
